This ambitious roadmap includes all-new vehicles, generational upgrades, and refreshed versions of existing bestsellers. Here are five key models to keep your eyes on, all set to reshape Hyundai's presence in the Indian passenger car market over the next few years.

All-New Hyundai Venue (Second Generation)

The popular compact SUV is getting a major upgrade. Hyundai’s second-gen Venue is now in the final stages of development and is expected to be unveiled during the 2025 festive season, with an official market launch in early 2026. Buyers can expect a bolder design, upgraded interiors, and enhanced features, making it a stronger rival in the sub-4m SUV category.

Hyundai Bayon – The Fronx Fighter

Hyundai Coming in as a fresh entrant in the subcompact crossover segment, the Hyundai Bayon is set to challenge the likes of Maruti Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. Built on the i20 platform and codenamed BC4i, it is expected to launch in late 2026 with a price tag of ₹9–12 lakh (ex-showroom). What makes it even more exciting? It could be the first Hyundai car in India to feature a new 1.2L hybrid petrol engine—fuel-efficient and future-ready.

Hyundai’s First Mass-Market Electric Hatchback

Codenamed HE1i, Hyundai is preparing to launch a compact electric hatchback by end-2026. It will be positioned as a direct competitor to the Tata Punch EV and Maruti’s upcoming compact EV. Priced between ₹10–15 lakh, it will be based on a dedicated skateboard EV platform, making it Hyundai's first serious attempt at an accessible electric vehicle for the Indian market. Expect more affordable EVs from Hyundai around 2027–28, including a new mid-size e-SUV on a 400V platform.

Next-gen Hyundai Creta

The biggest seller for Hyundai in India, Creta has been a revelation in the compact C-segment of SUVs in India. Currently, in its second generation, Hyundai is reportedly working on a new-gen Creta which is expected to make its debut in February 2028. Codenamed SX3, the new Creta will be offered with a variety of powertrain options including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains.
