The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, one of India's most popular sub-compact sedans, has achieved an impressive five-star safety rating in both Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) and Global NCAP (GNCAP) crash tests. Following the Tata Nexon, it becomes only the second vehicle in India to be tested under both safety protocols and score top marks.
While the overall safety ratings are similar, the testing methodologies and detailed scoring differ, leading to some interesting distinctions between the two evaluations.
