🏦 ICICI Bank Revises Service Charges Effective July 1, 2025: Here's What Will Change



Mumbai, June 2025 – Starting July 1, 2025, ICICI Bank will implement a revised fee structure across several of its retail banking services, including demand drafts, ATM usage, cash deposits, and withdrawals. The bank announced that the updated charges are part of routine adjustments to align with operational costs and customer usage patterns.


πŸ’Έ Demand Draft Charges

Creating a demand draft will now incur a fee of ₹2 per ₹1,000, regardless of whether payment is made via cash, cheque, or bank transfer.

  • Minimum charge: ₹50

  • Maximum cap: ₹15,000 per draft


🏧 ATM Transaction Updates

ICICI Bank ATMs:

  • 5 free financial transactions/month

  • ₹23 per transaction beyond the free limit

  • All non-financial services like balance enquiry and mini statement remain free

  • Senior citizens are fully exempt from all ATM charges

Non-ICICI ATMs:

  • Metro Cities (e.g., Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru):

    • 3 free total transactions

    • After that: ₹23 for financial, ₹8.50 for non-financial

  • Non-Metro Cities:

    • 5 free total transactions

    • Same charges apply after the limit

International ATM Usage:

  • ₹125 for financial transactions

  • ₹25 for non-financial usage (e.g., checking balance)

  • Currency conversion markup: 3.5%

  • Senior citizens: No charges apply


πŸ’° IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) Outbound Charges

  • Transfers up to ₹1,000: ₹2.50

  • ₹1,001 to ₹1 lakh: ₹5

  • ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh: ₹15


🏦 Cash Transactions at Branches & CRMs

Deposits:

  • 3 free cash deposit transactions/month

  • Beyond that: ₹150 per transaction

  • Free deposits up to ₹1 lakh/month

  • Exceeding ₹1 lakh: ₹3.50 per ₹1,000 or ₹150 (whichever is higher)

  • Note: If both count and value limits are breached, the higher fee applies

  • Third-party deposit cap: ₹25,000 per transaction

Withdrawals:

  • 3 free cash withdrawals/month at branches

  • After that: ₹150 per transaction

  • Withdrawals over ₹1 lakh: ₹3.50 per ₹1,000 or ₹150, whichever is higher

  • Same dual-limit rule applies as deposits

  • Third-party withdrawal limit: ₹25,000 per transaction

  • Annual fee: ₹300

  • For rural/Gramin accounts: ₹150

  • Replacement card (lost/damaged): ₹300
